The Cordyceps sinesis is a medical herb that is found in the himalayan region of Nepal,Tibet,Vietnam,and other mountainous country .It cane be found in the altitude ranging from 3000 metre to 5000 metre from the sea level. These medicinal herbs has great importance to the health of people directly and indirectly because of many reasons. These are very beneficial for the health related issues. This herbs are well used by the Chinese people since many years ago.

This herbs has uplifted the living standard of many people through out the country .These herbs are collected during the summer season as the snow will melt down and the larvae will be turned into dead plant when the fungus starts to grow over its tip of head.people from many places goes to collect these value able herb ,during the summer season. The Yarsagumba are generally found in these districts of Nepal like Rasuwa,Sindhupalchok,Dolakha,Dolpa,Manang,Mustang,Gorkha,solukhumbhu, and other mountainous districts of Nepal.
